“Last night I did an 2 hour talk show, “We Cannot Be Silent,” hosted by Phil Restino of Veterans for Peace and Larry Pinkney, long time activist and original member of the Black Panther Party who spent 10 years as a political prisoner in some of the most violent prisons in the US. The show is broadcast through Wolf Spirit Radio and the show is available for rebroadcast through www.wolfspiritradio.com. On the show we discussed the NDAA and the need for “we the people” to put aside our differences and come together to fight this egregious draconian law that was signed into law by Obama on Dec. 31, 2011, which allows him to detain US citizens without probable cause and hold them indefinitely without due process. My article “NDAA: Hedges v. Obama: Did the Bill of Rights die today?” has been making waves across the internet and I’m truly grateful to Phil, Larry and Dave for all they do to get the word out. We must be our own media as the corporately owned and operated media (the propaganda arm of the corporate state) makes sure no information is allowed out. Dissent is patriotic.”
